Description: Wine cork from a bottle of 'Pepperwood Grove' MERLOT
Sonoma County, California.

Comments/Origin: This cork went through many transformations prior to its safe harbor in the Museum of Temporary Art. It was bravely liberated from its host, intentionally heat set and manipulated, and finally, freed from its knitted wool cocoon.
